Eric R. Schroeder
Eric Schroeder assumed leadership of CDF Capital as President and CEO on July 1, 2021 after serving as a member of the CDF Capital Board since March of 2010. Eric was Bank Founder and Partner for CrossFirst Bank in Leawood, Kansas, one of the largest banks headquartered in the Kansas City region. He has held a broad range of roles at CrossFirst since its founding in 2006, most recently serving as Managing Director of Institutional Banking. Eric has more than 33 years of bank-related experience, including positions at UMB Bank, Boatmen’s First National Bank, and as Community Bank President for Bank 10. He also served a term as a bank examiner for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Eric holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Central Missouri State University. He and his wife Julie share lifelong involvement in the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ. He also continues in his role as part of a third-generation family farm in Missouri.

Phil Pike
Phil Pike joined the staff of CDF Capital in 2002 with nearly a decade of experience in banks and credit unions. He worked as Operations Manager of Long Beach Schools Financial Credit Union and has held a number of positions with CDF in both the investment and lending departments, including Senior Vice President of Operations. In 2015, Phil was appointed Executive Vice President of Operations, Chief Operating Officer. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Long Beach and attends Long Beach Christian Fellowship in Long Beach, California.

Mark Briggs
Mark Briggs joined CDF Capital in February 2001. Mark is an ordained minister and spent 10 years in local church ministry prior to joining CDF—primarily at Chandler Christian Church in Chandler, Arizona, where he worked with students and served on the preaching team. Mark is a 1993 graduate of Pacific Christian College. He and his wife, Winnie, have three young children.

Anna Bedley
Anna Bedley joined the CDF Capital team in 2003 as a Project Manager. She has spent her CDF career implementing technological efficiencies and streamlining operational processes. Anna now serves as Vice President of Loan Operations. Her previous experience includes logistics consulting for Fortune 500 companies and managing the Professional Services Division of a technology solution-sales organization. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Northridge.

Nathan R. Elson
Nathan R. Elson joined the CDF Capital team in late 2015 and serves on the Senior Leadership Team. Nathan has spent over 20 years following his two passions, ministry and marketing. Nathan has helped denominations, large ministries, local churches, and Christian publishers tell their stories and engage their audiences. Prior to joining CDF Capital, Nathan served on the Executive Team of Rock Church, a megachurch in San Diego, overseeing Sundays, creative, and communications. Nathan attended Talbot Seminary and holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Biola University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Long Beach.

Robert Bedley
Robert Bedley joined the CDF Capital team in 2004 as Systems Support Technician. He has spent his time at CDF working hands on with CDF’s computer infrastructure. Robert now serves as Director of Technology Services, planning and implementing new services, applications, and security while adapting CDF to the ever-changing world of technology.

Sandy Litke
Sandy Litke joined CDF Capital in 2007 and has faithfully served as Corporate Controller since. Sandy leads the accounting team, providing leadership and expertise to her group.

Steve Carr
Steve Carr has over two decades of experience helping churches and non-profits navigate the cultural landscape. Whether providing strategic resources or helping organizations adapt foundational principles to transitioning markets, Steve is an expert at communicating with clarity in ever-changing contexts. An ordained minister and theologian, he holds advanced degrees from Cincinnati Christian University, Xavier University, and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Steve spent ten years working in higher education, both as an administrator and professor. In 2005, he founded Echo Church in Cincinnati, where he is currently an elder. Since 2016, Steve has served as Vice President of Ministry Development at CDF Capital.
