Walking With Encounter Church

It is no easy task to find an affordable space that is well-suited for church services in the Columbia Heights neighborhood of Washington, D.C. But Joel Pazmino and the members of Encounter Church are not giving up.
This church plant is now meeting in its third location in the course of 12 months, but Joel still holds tight to the reason that drew he and his wife to Columbia Heights in the first place: a church is needed there.
Steve Carr, Vice President of Ministry Development, visited Joel and walked alongside him, street by street, through this urban community.
