CDF Capital Launches Craft & Character Podcast

On Tuesday, June 2, CDF Capital will launch the Craft & Character podcast. Host, Steve Carter will sit down with church leaders from across the country to discuss the need for powerful communication coupled with godly character.

The podcast will be hosted by Steve Carter, a nationally renowned pastor and communicator. Steve will be leading CDF Capital’s efforts to serve local church leaders with their public speaking craft and their personal character development.

CDF Capital’s Steve Carter shares the vision for Craft & Character, “Sometimes we have these moments where our gifting starts to outpace our character. And sometimes gifted and talented people whose character is firmly grounded in their relationship with Christ have stopped investing in the unique gift that God has given them to preach and to teach. Craft & Character aims not only to help pastors get better at the unique gifts God has given them but also will help them become more true to the person God created them to be.”

Craft & Character started with the goal to help pastors ensure that their character leads the way. CDF Capital is committed to equipping pastors so that they can show up and bring their full selves to the platform whenever they preach and lead. From events to video resources to cohorts and retreats, the CDF Capital team is dedicated to the life, health and ministry of those who share the gospel.

In addition to the podcast, CDF Capital Craft & Character will be rolling out more resources in the coming weeks to support pastors and faith leaders including an online event on Thursday, June 4. Hundreds of faith leaders will gather online for the launch of CDF Capital’s Craft & Character event.

The conference gives attendees backstage access to the lives, minds and insights of Carey Nieuwhof, Hosanna Wong and Dharius Daniels, three of the Church’s leading voices. This Craft & Character event will focus on how to lead in today’s changing environment amidst COVID-19.

About CDF Capital

God calls His people into a story of transformation. Since 1953, we have helped Christians and churches embrace their part in this story by providing the three kinds of capital every congregation needs for growth—Financial Capital, Leadership Capital, and Spiritual Capital. Church growth is about more than just attendance—it also involves congregational spiritual maturity, a culture of healthy leadership, discipleship-making, and more. At CDF Capital, we care about each of these components. When a church is properly resourced financially, spiritually, and in leadership, lives are transformed. We call this Transformational Capital.

About Craft & Character

Craft & Character is a new focus by CDF Capital for those who share the gospel. Led by Steve Carter, Craft & Character is about helping pastors ensure that their character leads the way, that they can show up and bring their full selves to the platform whenever they preach and lead.
